Lately I've been reading anything I can find about the Greek Mythology. Characters and stories are numerous and have been depicted an infinite number of times by artists of all kind. I wanted to discover what was inspiring those artists and why those stories still had so much impact in our modern times.
Here I have been inspired by the story of Medusa and Perseus.
Medusa was one of the three Gorgons but the only mortal one. With her sharp eyes, she can kill anyone that look at her. She's an ugly monster with her hair made of snakes and her wild boar fangs.
Perseus who had to retrieve Medusa head, had the help of Athena. The shield she gave him would help him see Medusa's reflection without being killed. Hades, gave him invisibility.
With the help of Gods he managed to quickly kill Medusa who stood no chance.
